independence or slavery (Ghana)

so as history will have it, Ghana got its independence on the 6th of march 1957 and we are to be free of the colonial maters or something like that.
but history is just that.
yet still every year the government waste thousands of cedis and precious time of the civil servant and some students just to up hold a tradition that we no longer believe in.
lets face it the fact that the supposed white man is not in the country on a throne does not mean we are free from them.
and if it is freedom we seek, freedom from what??!!
because as it stands there is no light, well...... what we have can't be considered light.
there is no water, well.... there's rain so...... we are not dying of thirst; but even that one has to go through lots of process.
roads. huh. this i wont waste breath on. OK a little bit. poor unstructured roads that keeps needing work after a year or two and that's at the most.
but in all we have independence.....
we should realize it just a wast of time celebrating wasting money we can use to help structure the country.
some one might argue it won't be enough, but we don't need it to be enough we just need it to work and sustain us.
Ghanaian's are a lot of things but one major problem i don't think we have noticed we have is complacency.
  but what the hell. we talk all of us .......... and we keep talking.
but never do anything
                              so to all of us happy slavery
because the white man still takes care of us and make our decisions.
well... maybe not all but some.
                                                    happy  independence.

Sinner's Prayer

Dear heavenly father, I come to you completely with full acknowledgment that I am a sinner. I believe am a child if God, your child,but am not sure. Well... Because I continue to sin.  Though the guilt after kills me and I feel ashamed all the time. Father, I know of you. I want to be good, cos your word teaches us that. Hello Me; Today was like any other day. I tried like I always do, To be strong. But even the smile started to fade. You know; I heard it called depression. That I do not agree with. I don't feel inadequate Is that a lie? Don't I pride myself of being a pessimist? Well, I guess one without the other is an incomplete analysis. Wow..... Am tired already Just thinking about that. Anyway, all I wanted to say is, I don't feel like ME today. Am allowed ain't I? To be weak Cry Feel like I need love Like I need desperately to be held. Me.
