independence or slavery (Ghana)
so as history will have it, Ghana got its independence on the 6th of march 1957 and we are to be free of the colonial maters or something like that. but history is just that. yet still every year the government waste thousands of cedis and precious time of the civil servant and some students just to up hold a tradition that we no longer believe in. lets face it the fact that the supposed white man is not in the country on a throne does not mean we are free from them. and if it is freedom we seek, freedom from what??!! because as it stands there is no light, well...... what we have can't be considered light. there is no water, well.... there's rain so...... we are not dying of thirst; but even that one has to go through lots of process. roads. huh. this i wont waste breath on. OK a little bit. poor unstructured roads that keeps needing work after a year or two and that's at the most. but in all we have independence..... we should realize it just a wast of time celeb
